Artist's Description
One day I was walking over the Long Beach Convention Center Pine Ave overpass and got this great glimpse of downtown. On the right is a real Ferris wheel; towards the left, the rails are a mock roller coaster, reminiscent of the real ones that used to be at the Pke -- the last of which was taken down in 1979.

I am a self-taught artist -- in the late 1990's, I became fascinated with pencil drawing and gradually got into watercolor. I got hooked and have been doing watercolor paintings ever since. My specialties are landscapes, buildings, seascapes, snowscapes, flowers, animals (especially pet portraits) -- anything that inspires me to create.
